The design
In the large size this design stops looking like a rug pattern and starts looking like a canvas: a wide, soft meadow in green and cream, loosely brushed, held inside a pale ivory border with a fine repeating edge. Furniture sits on it comfortably because there is no motif to interrupt, and the eye keeps moving across it the way it moves across a landscape.
Palette notes
Cream and beige ground washed with sage, moss and willow green, bordered in ivory.
Where it lives
A living room with the sofa and chairs on the rug, a dining table with chairs that pull back without catching, or a large bedroom.
In the wash
Low pile means it fits a household machine: cold water, gentle cycle, no bleach, air-dry flat. Vacuum weekly and rotate twice a year.
