The design
Five by seven is the size most rooms actually need: large enough to sit under a coffee table with margin, small enough to pick up and wash without planning your weekend around it. The faded grey pattern gives the floor age and depth without committing the room to a style, which is what makes this colorway easier to live with than the bolder grounds.
Palette notes
Grey and chalk white, with a faint warm undertone that keeps it from looking cold next to oak.
Where it lives
A small living room, a bedroom with the bed at one end, or a home office under a desk and chair.
In the wash
Cold water, gentle cycle, no bleach, then air-dry or no-heat fluff. Grey hides grit until wash day better than any pale ground.
