The design
The widest and longest of the cream runners. Against the off-white ground the cats look drawn rather than printed, and the extra width gives the border room to show its vine without crowding the figures. In a bright kitchen this is the piece that ties the island, the sink and the back door into one path.
Palette notes
Oatmeal cream ground with charcoal, ginger and dusty rose animals inside a fine green vine border.
Where it lives
A long kitchen with an island, a sunlit hallway, or a landing that runs the width of the house.
In the wash
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with no bleach, then air-dry; the light ground recovers fully. Keep crumbs off it with a daily sweep.
