The design
Five feet is the in-between size that solves a surprising number of floors: too long for a doormat, too short for a hallway, exactly right in front of a sink, a workbench or a sofa. The black ground carries the painted cats and the floral border at full strength even at this length, so nothing about it feels like a scaled-down version.
Palette notes
Black ground with ivory and warm color in the figures. The darkest small runner in the line.
Where it lives
In front of the kitchen sink, along a laundry counter, beside a sofa, or inside a back door where boots land.
In the wash
Short enough to wash often: cold, gentle, no bleach, air-dry. Black ground keeps its depth because the print resists fading.
